Player Summary:

The German born, 25-year-old, mountain of a man started his career on the DL in 2018 before transitioning to OL in 2018. Has played LT and RT, currently aligning at RG for OHCI. Projects as an OG at the next level. Physically possesses elite height, weight, and arm length at 6090, 330LBS with a muscular, lean body composition, high hips, and long torso. AA is marginal. Includes ordinary balance and recovery ability, average straight-line play speed for size, good upper half explosive power, marginal lateral agility and COD. Get off is average with sufficient initial quickness and good, angry demeanor. Pad level on initial get off is marginal as high hips, elite size, and below-average flexibility leads to slight waste bend and sub-par knee bend. Played with club on left hand in 2018 indicating good toughness. In the pass game, he is solid. His initial set is short with average quickness and snap anticipation. Displays good awareness, picking up stunts and blitzes. Mirrors 2, 3, and 2i techs decently well, despite marginal lateral agility. Utilizes elite physical stature and square shoulders sufficiently to close space good sized OL cannot. Initial punch is efficient and effective. Shows average patience and generates above-average power from strong, long arms, shocking 2 and 3 techs. Location is average, inside, yet marginally high stemming from pad level and size. Cannot comment on compromised latch ability due to hand injury. Utilizes elite length well post punch, and is good at passing off, distancing, and impeding 2, 3, and 2i techs ability to get to the chest and gain leverage. Below-average sinking hips and anchoring due to stature and marginal flexibility. Compensates staying in place well with rare, dense, hard to move frame and length. Good when locating, punishing, and finishing occupied 2i, 4i, and 4 techs in the pass game when unoccupied. As a run blocker, he is sufficient. Quality aggressor at POA. Pad level in get off is subpar. Solid in utilizing elite size, good length and upper body strength to wall off and wash down 2 and 3 tech IDL, turning back to the hole when drive blocking. Works well to LBs on slip blocks to the second level. As a run blocker and pass blocker with elite height, marginal knee bend and hip engagement lead to subpar ability to gain and retain initial leverage against DL with decent size and strength. Reestablishment of hands after loss of leverage is marginal. Subpar lateral agility and lateral speed leads to below-average ability to pull and get in front of the stretch zone.

Scheme Fit:

Developmental OG in a spread offense who covets massive, powerful guards for a gap based, power run scheme.

Power Statement:

25-year-old freak with elite size and length, who serves as a sufficient, aggressive, straight lined run blocker and solid, space eating, aware pass blocker. Age, as well as marginal lateral agility in the run and pass game, serve as significant limiting factors in developmental upside.
